The Story of the St John’s Cross

The pattern of inter-linked circles appears in the architecture of our church. We are not aware of the historical significance of the pattern, other than perhaps a feature of architecture of the time. But for us the pattern has taken on important significance.

The pattern represents 5 over-lapping circles which each represent the five core values of our community. We are convinced that values are more important than vision – that the WAY we choose to do things and say things will be as important (if not more) as any goal or destination. For us, the end never justifies the means.

As we seek to honour God, follow Jesus, live with integrity, build community or serve the city, we are convinced that the end is the means.
